Upload 10MB Files with Increased File Upload Limits

We made some changes to the servers a few weeks ago and everyone on a paid plan will be happy to know that we’ve increased the file upload attachment size limit. Before the improvements, we limited the file upload field to only allow files that were no larger than **5MB**. Now, you can attach files to your entries that are as large as **10MB**!

You can now upload larger files to Wufoo!

While each [File Upload field](https://help.wufoo.com/articles/en_US/kb/Form-Builder/field-types/#file) can have attachments as large as **10MB**, please remember that the maximum size for all attachments per entry cannot exceed **20MB**. That doesn’t mean you can’t have more than 2 File Upload fields on a form. It just means that your users can only upload **20MB** worth of files at a time.

This upgrade was automatically applied to all paid accounts. Many thanks to our server team for the improvements and we hope you enjoy the new limits!

  • Wowzers! That’s fantastic you guys are great. Defo a step in the right direction :o)

While we’re on the subject of uploads – are there any plans to implement an ‘upload progress bar’ ?

Keep up the tremendous work guys!

  • On the topic of upping limits, is there any plan to up the amount of fields allowed? We do a yearly “Best of” poll for our city and could use a few more fields than allowed. It has around 115 “categories.”

We manage by using multiple forms, but having to authenticate each one with the entrants email is frustrating (both on their end and ours).

But otherwise, this is by far the best service!

  • Just in case, when you go to http://wufoo.com/signup/ and click on the file storage description, it still mentions 5mb, and a word is missing from the popup 🙂

  • It would be really cool if there was an upload progress bar so users could see how far their uploads are.
